Our Heritage Team can offer paid advice about work:

• on listed buildings
• on locally listed buildings
• in conservation areas
• in registered historic parks and gardens

As part of this paid service, we can discuss your ideas with you in written desk-based assessments or site visits. We'll then follow up with a written response that can help you get consent for your proposed work.

This can save time and money and provide specialist support for a subject that can be difficult to understand and research.

We offer 3 different advice services for householders.

The cost is £175 (inclusive of VAT).

This service usually includes:

• 1 hour desk-based research
• a written response within 20 working days of receipt

Additional time is charged at hourly increments (£169 per hour).

The cost is £433 (inclusive of VAT).

This service usually includes:

• 1 hour desk-based research
• 1 hour site visit within 10 working days of receipt (subject to client availability)
• written response within 10 working days of our site visit

Additional time is charged at hourly increments (£169 per hour).

We offer an emergency priority service for householders. The cost is £780 (inclusive of VAT).

This service usually includes a:

• priority site meeting as a matter of urgency
• written response provided within 5 working days of site visit
